Situated in the heart of beautiful Hartbeespoort, our practice is easily accessible at the Hartbeespoort Medical Centre, which is thoughtfully designed to support you and your family’s healthcare needs.

Founded by Dr Johann Albasini in 2001, the practice has always been rooted in a strong commitment to serving the local community. In 2023, Dr Johan Erasmus joined the practice as a partner and general practitioner, marking an exciting new chapter of growth. As the practice expanded, Dr Jeannine Grünewald and Sr Lezan du Plessis joined the team and quickly became integral members of our trusted and compassionate healthcare family.

Dr Johann Albasini

Dr Albasini established the practice in 2001 and has been serving the Hartbeespoort community with dedication ever since. With a strong background in surgical care, he has a particular passion for surgical and procedural work. Known for his approachable nature, Dr Albasini is deeply committed to his patients, always willing to go the extra mile and provide attentive, personalised care. He is never too busy and always welcoming; his greatest motivation remains simple - a genuine heart to help.

Dr Johan Erasmus

Dr Erasmus joined the practice in 2023 and has quickly become known for his energy, warmth, and genuine connection with patients. His enthusiasm is matched by a deep passion for mental health and holistic care. He is also actively involved in addiction treatment, offering compassionate, non-judgmental support to those who need it most. With a special love for working with children, Dr Erasmus goes out of his way to make his young patients feel at ease.

Dr Jeannine Grunewald

Dr Grünewald joined the practice in 2024 - gentle and deeply compassionate by nature, she is committed to her patients and ensuring that they receive help, support, and continuity of care. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Jeannine oversees the aesthetic procedures and IV drips at the practice, combining medical expertise with careful attention to patient comfort and well-being. She holds a special place in her heart for older patients and oversees all of the practice’s elderly care. She approaches everything with patience, kindness, and dignity.

Sr Lezan du Plessis

Sr du Plessis joined the practice in 2025, bringing years of experience, calm professionalism, and genuine compassion. She started her nursing career in 2004 and has since worked alongside leading surgeons and GPs. Known for her ability to juggle patient care, clinical responsibilities, and organisation with ease, Sr Lezán is a steady and reassuring presence in the practice.
